Maria Rapela

I am a cross-disciplinary photographer with a degree in art and anthropology.

For many years I was an amateur photographer and used photography as a tool while studying anthropology or to document my artistic work (painting). I have been blogging since 2007, using images and text to communicate.

I have always enjoyed capturing moments and people: Events, social situations, meetings, special gatherings and portraits.

Over time, I've realized the importance of photography to create visual memories and tell stories - whether it's of a short event or your business, passion, and so on.

In 2019, I decided to take my photography to the next level. I purchased professional equipment, attended several workshops and practiced a lot. Since then I was able to show my skills and help many people with event photography or professional portraits.

I have learned, along with several personal photography projects, that helping and serving others is important to me. If you would like to talk to me about your project, optimizing your company image or an upcoming event, feel free to contact me and we can chat via Zoom or over coffee.

I enjoy working with businesses (corporate) and individuals who need my photographic services. I adapt to each project and need and can provide you with a customized proposal that meets your expectations.
