Application Photo: How Does the Photo Shoot Work?
We will agree on a date and time, and I’ll provide you with some tips to ensure you’re well-prepared for the session. In my studio, I take the time to chat with you and get to know you. It’s essential for me to understand who you are so I can capture your essence, professionalism, and friendliness. You can pay after the shoot, preferably by bank transfer or in cash.
Application Photo: Basic or Professional?
A professional photo shoot offers many advantages over a basic photo shoot. You have more time to relax, can adjust your hair or makeup, and get more time and a wider selection of shots per session. Additionally, outdoor shots are possible, as long as the weather is nice (above 15 degrees Celsius). You can conveniently select your photos from home in a private online gallery.
Furthermore, you benefit from professional image editing, where skin, hair, and clothing are perfected.
If you’d like to smooth out small imperfections like blemishes, skin spots, or untidy hair, I recommend a professional photo shoot. However, if you have youthful skin and a simple haircut and don’t require extensive retouching, the Basic Package will be more than enough.

We will do a photoshooting in a photostudio in Berlin-Wedding. After that, you can immediately choose the photo that suits you best.
I will quickly edit the photo with basic adjustments (without professional skin retouching). You can pay via bank transfer, PayPal, or cash. Once the payment is received, you will get the digital photo for download.
Duration: A photo shoot lasting 10 to 15 minutes, followed by selecting the photos on-site. The entire process, including basic image editing, takes a total of 30-40 minutes.

What does the professional image editing package include?
In the professional package, the photos are professionally edited, e.g. brightness, contrast, texture, flyaway hair, skin smoothing, stains or lint on clothing, color enhancement, etc. And a professional skin editing technique to remove spots and other blemishes without affecting the skin texture or color. If you need further retouching, I will do it for you free of charge. Each additional retouching costs 25€.
What does basic image processing include?
In the Basic package, the photos will be edited at a basic level, including adjustments to brightness, contrast, basic skin and portrait editing and color enhancement. If you require further retouching, this will be carried out free of charge. Each additional retouching costs 25€.
In which file format do I get the photos?
You receive the photos in JPG format and in two different sizes. A small-format photo optimized for social media and a larger version optimized for printing in case you need to send your CV on paper.
How much will it cost if I want more photos?
Each additional photo with professional editing costs 50€. Photos with basic editing cost €35 including 19% VAT.
Which payment methods are accepted?
You can pay via Paypal or bank transfer. I prefer the bank transfer.
Can I use this photo for my website and business?
If you need a photo for your application or for social networks such as Linkedin or Xing or for private purposes, the application photo option is the right one.
If you want to use these photos for your website, for press releases or to promote your company or your career as an academic, business photos are the right choice.
Commercial photos are designed to be used and seen by a large and diverse audience. They have a higher value and purpose than personal or resume photos. Commercial photos can help you promote your services, or enhance your brand image.
How can I pay for a professional photos if I am registered with the job center/employment office and have no money for it?
If you want to make your resume stand out, you can get a professional photo with the help of a subsidy from the job center or employment agency. Just talk to your advisor and schedule an appointment for the photo shoot. Once your appointment is confirmed, you can simply show the invoice and get the money back in your account.
What does professional photo retouching look like?
A professional photo retouching will adjust the colors, contrast, skin and flyaway hair without changing the natural look.

What is the selection process after the photoshooting?*
With the professional package you get a private link to view the photos at your leisure and from home. You choose the best photo and I edit it professionally. Then I send you the photo by email.

Ironing: Iron your clothes before the session. If you are unable to do this and your clothes are very creased, we can iron them here for an extra charge of €10.
Hairstyling: Bring what you need to touch up, tie, style, etc.
